Then this might be your dream job: Tender Manager (m/f/d) Renewables Your position As Tender Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of tendering – from identifying opportunities to submission and engaging in post-submission activities. You will join a team within Renewables Service Sales and Tender with seven colleagues located in Denmark, Germany and the UK. We are a global company dedicated to enlisting the best employees rather than geographical availability – thus, you may freely choose one of our Northern European offices at Bremen, Hamburg or Esbjerg.Your tasks and responsibilities This role requires a deep understanding of the company’s services as well as excellent coordination, commercial, technical, and communication skills. You will collaborate with various departments to compile comprehensive and competitive tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines as well as keeping control over the company’s internal approval process. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: Proactively following tender opportunities and analysing tender documents Gathering information for tender submissions followed by developing and maintaining a tender plan Ensuring documentation and compliance, e.g. accurate completion and submission of all tender documents on time and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Collaborating with Finance and Pricing to develop cost estimates and calculation tools Executing proposal writing and leading the development of compelling and well-structured tender proposals highlighting unique selling points and value proposition Ensuring quality assurance by thorough reviews of tender submissions and implementing quality assurance processes Engaging in post-submission activities such as clarifications, negotiations and feedback sessions All tasks require relationship management: you foster positive relationships with clients, partners, and relevant stakeholders as well as attending bid meetings, site visits, and other interactions to understand client needs and build rapport.Your profile We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in tender management – preferably in the offshore wind industry. You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, and you are familiar with legal and regulatory requirements related to tendering – as well as experienced in using tender management software and Microsoft Office 365. We are not concerned with a specific level of your experiences; we are willing to invest in developing you – however, we expect you to be fully dedicated as well. To succeed as our Tender Manager, you have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborations without compromising on quality. THE POSITION As our Key Account Manager Low Carbon Solutions at VARO Energy Germany, you are a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a proven record of accomplishment in delivering multi-facetted, innovative customer solutions. Your focus will be on the decarbonisation of our customer’s industrial processes and/or logistics. As our customers in Germany want to contribute to a world of low carbon emissions, they are clear on the mission but not necessarily on the pathway to reach those ambitions. Your focus is to help our partners achieve their energy transition goals. You are accountable to understand their requirements in order to offer them actionable solutions in their journey to defossilise. By delivering a successful implementation of these Customer Lighthouses, you establish VARO as the Energy Transition Partner of Choice. In order to accomplish such industry-leading solutions, you have a toolbox of modular concepts from our 5 renewable pillars that you can apply to these customer segments. On our way through the energy transition, you can build up your own ideas and implement your experience to enrich our wholesale activities. Working together and pioneering in multi-disciplinary teams excites you.
