The World Future Council is looking for a


Team Assistant – Climate and Energy


Location: Hamburg, Germany (Applicants need to have an EU work permit)

Working hours: 40 hours per week

Note: This position is currently offered until 31 December 2019, due to project funding, but extension is possible and thus prolonging is desired.

 

Role

To contribute to the development and implementation of the WFC`s Climate and Energy Programme.

 

Main responsibilities

 

  • Support project reporting in English and German
  • Organise and schedule meetings
  • Coordinate office management and carry out administrative tasks for the Climate Energy Team (incl. prepare meeting agendas, and take minutes during meetings, organise meeting follow-ups etc.)
  • Book business travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, and lodgings for senior management and other staff members
  • Support project management such as liaising with partners
  • Support development of fundraising proposals in English and German
  • Support organisation of policy dialogues (event management)

Voraussetzungen

Profile

 

  • Strong commitment to environmental and social justice
  • Relevant work experience of 2+ years
  • Administrative and office management skills
  • Project management or event management experience
  • Professional fluency in German and English. Additional languages, especially Spanish or French is an asset
  • High IT literacy
  • Detail-oriented and organised
  • High level of self-motivation as well as ability to work as part of a team
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Fundraising experience an asset
