OVERALL OBJECTIVES

ECCO aims to become the world’s leading footwear brand, and assuch has a focus on developing and presenting industry-leadingmarketing to targeted consumers around the globe.


Within the Europe Central Region the Marketing Manager isresponsible for the development and implementation of themarketing strategy for wholesale and franchise retail for the D-A-CHmarkets and Poland. The strategy is developed in close alignmentwith EMEA and approved by global brand management beforeand during implementation. The role is based in the ECCO Centraloffice in Hamburg, and reports to the Head of CommercialOperations Central Europe.


The position is based in Hamburg and need to be filled immediately.

The general tasks and responsibilities are:


  • Develop an overarching marketing strategy for all consumertouch points for D-A-CH and wholesale in Poland
  • Develop the resulting media strategy and execute theimplementation of the media mix
  • Brief, lead and evaluate all relevant marketing agencies toensure creative excellence and constituent messaging
  • Develop and lead a marketing team that will develop andimplement new concepts, business models, channels andpartners to position business as innovator and leader
  • Oversee the brand execution at the POS and lead the sell-outteam to a successful contribution
  • Cooperate with the Sales and Product teams to developstrong seasonal Go To Market strategies for the markets.
  • Align with Franchise and key partners on marketing strategyplanning and execution
  • Ensure on-going effective communication and alignment withour Franchise and Wholesale partners, supporting the qualityexecution of marketing activity across all channels.

Voraussetzungen

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has the following requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years work experience in a Marketing role, withexperience in all marketing disciplines ideally also on theagency side
  • Experience in leading and guiding a strong marketingdepartment
  • Exceptional track record in successful execution of regionalmarketing strategies and campaigns
  • University Degree or Equivalent
  • Fluent English & German (written and spoken) mandatory, with other languages a benefit
  • Effective leader promoting cooperation and success
  • Strong analytical and marketing planning skills 
  • A passion for footwear with Central market awareness
  • Understanding of latest marketing trends and tactics 
  • Flexibility in order to respond effectively to changing business needs- and decisions 
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide and diverse audience 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Powerpoint) 
  • Regular travel in the Central region and to Denmark
