In this role, you will have high business impact by seeking out and securing new Korean clients for exmox and managing the relationship we have with our existing Korean clients.

To enable our growth plans, we are looking for:

Business Development Manager, Jnr. - Korean speaking (m/w/d)

Please note that due to the current COVID restrictions we will only be able to consider applications from candidates that are currently based either in Germany or another European country that travel between there and Germany is permitted by the authorities.


  • As part of the exmox team in Hamburg, you will be collaborating with our marketing managers and applying a customer centric, consultative selling approach. 
  • You instinctively know how to seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation, to generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • You will qualify new campaign opportunities with Korean companies while educating prospects of the value of exmox’s services
  • Brainstorm with your manager and the publishing team in order to prioritise strategic accounts in your territory. Identify and generate new business opportunities in your market to fuel growth. 
  • Deliver on your targets and then smash them by establishing a bulletproof pipeline focused on both new accounts and extracting additional value from existing partners in your territory. 
  • You intuitively know the value of providing your clients with punctual, compelling campaign feedback.
  • You’re super comfortable with a large volume of cold contacts, and consistently following things up.



  • You are a fluent Korean speaker – whether it’s your mother language or you’ve worked really hard to get their - someone who not only speaks the language, but knows how Koreans tick. Everything else exmox can teach you, but only if your Korean is good enough. If you are a native-level Korean speaker then you may be our dream Business Development Manager, Jnr. – Korean Speaking!
  • You are striving for responsibility, the opportunity to get things done and having real impact with your work. You are a booster, not an administrator.
  • You love thinking strategically - seeing the bigger picture, and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
  • Your eye for details enables you to meet your high-quality expectations and reach ambitious goals in a role with high visibility within exmox.
  • You have proficiency in MS Office / G suite: Word, Excel/Sheets, CRM software (Hubspot), and if you also have  knowledge of Asana and Slack then this is a plus.
  • Worked in customer support in the past? We want colleagues who have developed their communication and negotiation skills and have heard the good, the bad, and the ugly first hand from customers and can use that knowledge to improve their work
  • The type of people we want are smart and "quick on the uptake". The rest we can teach!
  • Your profile is rounded out by fluent English skills. All of our internal and client communication happens in English.
