Bomin is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mabanaft, an importer, wholesaler and retailer of petroleum products which is part of Marquard & Bahls AG, Hamburg. One of the leading independent bunker companies, we supply fuels and lubricants for ships around the world.

With more than 35 years’ market experience we are one of the leading independent international bunker traders and suppliers. Our business extends from the trade in fuels and lubricants over the cargo trade down to the diverse services for the shipping industry. Through our subsidiaries we have more than 300 employees working at 36 locations around the globe.

For our headquarters in Hamburg, at the earliest possible starting date we are looking for a


B2B Trader Sales (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

  • Building up and ensuring maintenance of customer portfolio i.e. by conducting proactively cold calls and participating in trade fairs (local and international)
  • Analyzing the bunker and oil market as well as the economic environment by studying several information sources and sharing knowledge with the Trading Manager Nortwest Europe and the team members
  • Trading independently within policy provided by Trading Manager Northwest Europe by collecting, analyzing and negotiating prices with suppliers according to customer’s inquiry and by providing competitive prices to the customer
  • Ensuring official completion of trade (administrative/back office work)

Voraussetzungen

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of experience with at least 3 to 4 years within the bunker trading business
  • Strong commercial mind with a proactive attitude and drive
  • Excellent negotiator with strong analytical skills
  • Outgoing and social personality
  • Knowledge of shipping industry and basics of market regularities and developments
  • University degree or apprenticeship with comparable experience
  • The ability to operate commercially in an highly international environment
  • Fluent in English (business fluent) and in German (preferred for German customers)
